Kodak Gallery

A web application I use frequently is Kodak Gallery. I take digital pictures and upload them to my computer and onto the web application as back up. I use this web application as a backup in case my computer crashes. The pictures are easier to access on the web at any given time. Once I upload them to the web application, I can share them with family and friends through email. It is good to have an account because if someone shares photos with you, their album will be stored in your gallery forever. That feature is particularly good for me because my family emails me pictures all the time. I am an uncle to 4 girls and 2 boys all under the age of 7. My family is constantly snapping photos of them and emailing me. Now the albums which date back years are stored on my “friend’s gallery.”
Another great feature is that you can create projects. You can make t-shirts, calendars, collages, or simply buy prints. Personally, I don’t use this feature but my sisters have made my Mom some nice calendars of the kids.
The site makes managing photos a lot easier. You don’t have to drop film off to be developed, wait 2 days, and then pay for prints that you do not like. Once uploaded to Kodak gallery, you can choose to have your photo printed a local cvs for pickup or mailed to your house (I am not fortunate to have a printer).

The website is http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/welcome.jsp
Click around and see if you like it.

  1. That's great you've found an application online that you are able to do so many great things with regarding photos. Applications like that are great for keeping in touch with the family!
